Pasolini Marivilloso

In about 25 minutes time, from stopping to re-strap my newly bought Babe on the trailer - and a buddy passing by stopping for a chat, 'til rolling off a flap-bridge that had opend for a passing sail boat - and the same buddy standing next to me and us again chatting away, the deal was done on the mobile phones.
The old Dharma Café Racer engine project that had taken forever was swapped for this absolute beauty.
(2nd picture is stolen from Mr Hauge - as I'm riding away into the sunset...)

I knew it would happen

Well, really, it was more or less just a matter of time. Ever since I sold the R, there's been a part of me that's never quite felt content. I've seen the ad's. I've felt the need. When I first saw the ad on this Girl on Biscaya's web page I felt the sting.
But, no, I had the Babe that I'd been riding with a lot of joy a few times on track this year with a lot of satisfaction. Surprisingly so. But third time out I binned her. Without really knowing what went wrong. Front end just tucked at full lean as I'd just gone over a small bump. No chance of saving it. Luckily we both rolled away with only scratches and a few weeks later we were again at full lean.
Two days ago I made the mistake of logging into Biscaya's web page again. The Girl was still there. Yesterday I packed the car full of Babe's stuff and went over there. A few hours later the deal was signed. We didn't even disturb her winter peace by startin her up. If we would have I'd probably had tried to ride her home through the snow and ice...
