Winter

Winter's a funny thing in motorcycling. It's a looooong wait for that snow to melt and sun to warm up the asphalt again.
It's also usually a time when I spend atleast as much money on my bikes as during the riding season. If I'm not buying a new one, I'm dishing out loads of dosh on "improvements" to the existing ones.
One of the best things during winter is when you get packages like this...
Also, some things may require repair... During the last run of the year (unfortunately) a needle bearing on one of the rocker arms seized on the Supermotard. Luckily it didn't cause any extra grief, but the engine's out of the frame and into good and caring hands instead.

The rear damper on the 851 is also in good hands at Biscaya at the moment, getting some well deserved attention. Maybe it would make a cool lowrider...

A set of crash fairing have also been aquired. Just waiting to be crashed. But before they get crashed there will be a new lighter flywheel in the engine. And a new cheeze at the back
One good thing with enduro bikes is they take very little space once you fold them.

Rumour has it that magnesium toe-sliders make you go some 3 tenths a lap quicker...

Yes. Work has also proceeded in the Yellow One project. The rear engine mount is now ready and up next is the front engine mount. I also just discovered that you have to use an airbox for the breathing. So now that also needs fixing. Plus the exhaust. But after that there's only about 20 smaller things that needs fixing and then she should be ready to go racing!!!
